PRINCIPAL GEOLOGIST, PFAS PRACTICE LEADER
Mr. Cassidy has more than 32 years of diverse environmental consulting experience, with an emphasis on litigation support, site investigations, remediation, and negotiations with regulatory agencies. Mr. Cassidy has managed site assessment and remediation, including Phase I and Phase II site assessments; and remediation via soil vapor extraction, dual-phase extraction, large-scale bioremediation, chemical injection, excavation, product recovery trenches, and monitored natural attenuation.
Mr. Cassidy has interacted with government agencies at the federal, state, county, and local levels including EPA Region 9, DTSC, multiple Regional Water Quality Control Boards, the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, City of LA, and LA County. He has provided technical support prior to and during litigation with responsible parties, property owners, insurance firms, and various government agencies. He has provided expert witness testimony and litigation support regarding numerous environmentally impacted properties. Mr. Cassidy has been deposed multiple times, provided declarations, assisted attorneys in preparing deposition questions for other experts, participated in and provided exhibits for mediation, and testified at trial.
